Does my 2007 Sienna have a timing belt too?

As stated does my Sienna have a belt? AND is it an interference engine? If so I am at 57K and guess will have to look at changing it sometime soon

Re: Does my 2007 Sienna have a timing belt too?

2007 was the first year for the currently used 3.5 liter V6 (2GR-FE) engine. This engine uses a timing chain, so no belt to replace.

Re: Does my 2007 Sienna have a timing belt too?

even though the 2gr-fe has timing chain
but 3.5L does have one long serpentine belt that drives the water pump, ac compressor and power steering pump, and has a recommend replacement interval.
the labor is not as intense as the timing chain/belt replacement.
