Unknow Black Wires on Pass of Engine

I recently replaced the rear valve cover on my 2002 Sienna. After putting everything back together, I noticed that there were 2 black wires next to the shock tower on the pass side. One of the wires was connected to the body and the other connection is loose ?? There seems to be a elec connector of some type between them ... need some help here please. Thank you.

I've attached a pic of my 2000 Sienna, just a guess that they are the wires you're talking about.

Yes. The one black wire to the lower right (shown on your pic) terminates at the body. So, this answers my question. But, there is another one over by the shock tower that terminates also in two gnd connections. I don't understand their purpose. But, anyway, thank you for the help.
