HID brand recommendations

Trying to upgrade my 2017 Sienna SE headlight (H11 bulb) to a HIDs. What's a good brand out there? That'll last for a good time span. Thanks all.

Re: HID brand recommendations

I use morimoto's. Great product, great warranty, no flickers. I've had them for 6+ years with no issues.

Re: HID brand recommendations

I'm running morimotos on both my cars as well. I've had them in a projector-retrofitted Civic for just over 3 years now with no problems.

Morimoto with TL4 projectors. Night and day difference, zero complaints. Purchased mine from Retrofit Source.

Re: HID brand recommendations

Forget HID. Get some H11 LED.

Re: HID brand recommendations

After using good quality xenondepot HID's in my '13 RAV4 for 3 years, I gave up after one of the ballasts developed intermittent flickering.
I went back to halogens.
After using HID's in my Honda Goldwing for 2 weeks, I also gave up because of the ridiculous scatter.
I ended up with some very good LED's made by Pathfinder for the motorcycle.
I won't ever go back to HID's.

Re: HID brand recommendations

I converted the stock xenon d4s system and swapped out the ballasts for morimotos and philips d2s bulbs.

Avoid LEDs. They look bright and probably brighter than halogens, but they are no comparison to HIDs.

I am very happy with my Kensuns that we have in our 2012 Highlander. I bought a set for my 2014 Sienna just have not put them in yet.
They are available on Amazon.

I owned a couple car with factory LED headlight and they are brighter and better than any HID's stock. For aftermarket LED with halogen projector will have shorter throw compare to HID but you could always raise the low beam. Aftermarket LED with halogen reflector will have no issue. You'll archive the modern look purest white with LED vs yellow tint of HID. Skip those Vleds they are no better than chinese knock off and triple the price. Morimoto selling both HID & LED conversion kit.

Re: HID brand recommendations

i bought the "xtreme" kit from xenon depot last black friday, no issues thus far. if i didnt buy there i would have gotten the morimoto kit from the retrofit source. where ever you order, check for a coupon floating around.
