Re: 2017 Price (Canada)
Whatever Toyota I've bought from a local dealer, and that's now 3 of them, we always go invoice + $450.
It doesn't matter if it's a Sienna, RAV4, whatever.
The dealer makes more money on a factory order, due to the floor plan rebate.
If you're not familiar with the floor plan rebate, it's like the holdback as it's sometimes called.
The dealer gets about a 2%-3% allowance from Toyota Canada to help the dealer finance a vehicle that may sit for awhile on the lot.
If the vehicle is sold immediately on delivery to the dealer, the dealer gets to keep that 2%-3% as extra profit, as it doesn't go to the dealer's bank to pay for financing of an unsold vehicle.
I would never pay MSRP for any Toyota.
Sounds like you're in Alberta, with no PST.
There are lots of Toyota dealers in AB who would like your business.
