cruise dying then dead and need it fixed ASAP!

I don't know if its related but it started right after I disconnected my DRLs by snipping the wire. The next day my cruise started flashing after I braked, and I had to tiurn it off and then on again in order to set my speed. But the next day it stopped working altogether. The light doesnt come on at all, and I can't set speed. I reconnected the wire I snipped and removed the battery cable for a few minutes. I started her up and started driving, and the cruise light came on when I hit the switch. I turned it off again because I wasn't up to speed anyway and when I was up to speed the light wouldnt come on and cruise wouldn't work! Now I've got the battery disconnected again...

I need this fixed by Monday, when I take a 1500 mile drive with sciatica that will be utter agony if cc doesnt work.

Had codes pulled, no codes. Brake lights all work. I think me and my sciatica are in for a world of hurt

<Solved>

I decided to crawl back under the dash and found that one of the connectors I had looked at when I searched for the DRL wire was a bit loose. As soon as I heard that beautiful *click* of it dropping into place I knew it was fixed.
