2004 sienna timing belt bolt

hi i have an common problem when i try to do my timing belt the long bolt in the back r rounded off and rusted. i wanted to know if the bolt threads in the long bracket or just at the bottom bracket. thinking of drilling the bolt heads off and taking the long bracket out so i can have more room to work with.

Re: 2004 sienna timing belt bolt

Assuming you are referring to the engine mount. It's been awhile since I did my timing belt, but I recall that it just threads into the bottom and that there are not threads on the upper portion.

An impact wrench on a lower setting and PB Blaster helps to break free rusted bolts.

Good luck.
