Radio in 2005 Sienna Changing Channels By Itself

We have a 2005 Sienna XLE Limited with 70,000+ miles and have had very few problems so far. This week, my wife noticed the radio started changing channels by itself. Seemingly at random, the radio changes either one channel up or down or changes between FM1 and FM2. I drove a little this weekend, and I watched it happen myself. It happens whether we are moving or sitting still. I suspect something in the control head since the only things that can get the radio to change one channel up or down is the tuning dial in the upper right of the control head and the FM button is just below this dial. It may be no coincidence that this week has been the coldest of the season here in Indiana.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I had wacky display problems when it was really hot out. I didn't have any issues this summer though. Never had an issue with it changing stations, but I wouldn't be surprised.

    Hi [seplant]!
Welcome & Glad you found us here at the new neighborhood.

    Sorry about the radio trouble....
Maybe one of the switches/controls is "sticking" or otherwise going "bad".....on the headunit and/or the steering wheel controls....

    YMMV.
    Good Luck!! 8)

Ours started doing weird things before it died. Replaced it with a Kenwood DVD/GPS combo and love it.

I had the same thing. The radios are not the best.

Ok, wild guess here but are you maybe touching the controls on the steering wheel by accident? Any liquids (coffee) spilled or cleaners been used on the buttons on the steering wheel?
