Bluetooth Problem

I just traded in my 2014 RAV4 for a 2015 Sienna SE since I needed more space for carting my dogs around. My phone (Samsung Note 3) connected without a problem in the RAV4, but I cannot keep it connected in the Sienna. It connects initially, but after about 30 seconds, it disconnects. I can manually reconnect it, but the same thing happens every time. It simply will not stay connected. I can start a phone call when it initially connects, but it will disconnect while I am on the call and I have to switch to talking on the phone. I have taken it to the dealership, but they had no idea why it was doing this. The service person who was helping me connected his iPhone and it stayed connected, so it apparently has something to do with my phone. But why did my phone work with the RAV4 one day, and then not work the very next day with the Sienna? Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Bluetooth Problem

If anyone else is having a similar problem, I seem to have found a work-around. I was digging around more on the internet, and found someone with a similar problem in a RAV4. That person said that keeping the WIFI turned off on the phone somehow allowed the phone to remain connected via Bluetooth (she also disconnected the phone and rebooted it before trying this). Well, I just tried it, and it worked! Well, at least it worked that one time, while sitting in my driveway. I will continue to try it and see if this helps. It will be a pain to have to make sure the WIFI is turned off every time I get in the car, but I guess it's better than nothing!
