    Airbag helper springs

Is one brand better than the next?
I am also wondering where Canadian owners have bought their Airbag systems?

    TIA,
    Steve

Online at some place like this. Airlifts. Good for a couple of years including Calgary winters.

I'm currently looking into purchasing airbags for my van at Action Van & Truck world. They have locations here in Canada. Just google them to see if they have a location near you.
I've dealt with them when I purchased my hitch and wiring harness. They were the cheapest price and very professional. The installation was immaculate.

AirLift has a lifetime warranty on theirs. I think mine have been on for nearly two years now, with no problems.

    Re: Airbag helper springs

Ths only issues with my air bags is if you have an LX with adjustable HID's you WILL have to basically adjust the headlight to its maximum high setting ....this is what the aurbags does......since you put 25psi in the bags to avoid bottoming out of a class III hitch it kind of raises the rear and in doing so pushes the front end down, now even if you use the headlight adjuster to its max hight it really does not help you with the throw distance of the head light beam......I am planning to change my class III hitch to the OEM tooyota Dual port class II hithc whihc is much slimer than the Hidden hitch that way I can deflate the air bags and inflate it only when needed...also my understanding is thet the OEM dual port class II hitch does not bottom out so no need of air bags when not towing.....only inflate it when towing.....this will also allow me to use the maximum potential of my HID lights.....

just my experience on this all hicth and air bag busniess.....

    Airlift, works very well.

I carry parts and tools for work, use to bottom out once in awhile.
    Not anymore.

    Re: Airbag helper springs

I picked up airlift 1000 for my 2004. I love them, no problem's I was going to order on-line but with exchange and possible duty fees and i wanted them the next day, i got mine locally from a van and truck place that has lots of accesories. My airlift cost me $157.00 plus tax. Installed them myself.

I chose a Firestone Coil-Rite set, based on availability. I bought them in Edmonton at a truck accessory store.
