REFERENCE section for Towing & Hauling

The list of popular and helpful "sticky" topics that were formerly found here was becoming overgrown, so they have been moved to their own sub-forum as a "child" of this Towing & Hauling forum. You will find it listed as the Towing Reference section.

It can also be found here: http://siennachat.com/forum/index.php/board,40.0.html

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Thank you for your kind understanding as we strive to continuously improve site organization and functionality for all of our valuable members and guests.

Re: REFERENCE section for Towing & Hauling

I had noticed that there were a lot of "sticky" topics in this category, but they all seemed appropriate. This is an interesting solution.

I assume that the intention would be that new topics cannot be started in the new section without some sort of governance, so it doesn't just become another Towing & Hauling section, and that when a topic in the original section is recognized as reference material it will be moved?

Re: REFERENCE section for Towing & Hauling

yes....good point & suggestion. I shall see if it is possible to [lock-down] the [Reference] section from "new" TOPICS....while still allowing members to comment.

UPDATE: after a quick look, it is not possible to prevent new topics from being placed into the new sub-forum by other members *IF* they are also allowed to comment on existing topics. It is one of those "all-or-nothing" settings.
We will just have to keep an eye on things and "move" any topics as needed.
