Will my First Gen Towbar fit 2nd Gen Sienna???

I have some towing equipment (not sure which manufacturer) fitted on my 98 Sienna. I want to set up towing on my 2007 Sienna. Is there any chance that the tow bar would fit? I am guessing no, based on the greater width on 2nd gen Sienna's, but just wanted a 2nd opinion.

Ok, looked a little bit on the net and the answer is no.

Assuming that by "towbar" you mean the hitch receiver, then you're right - the answer is absolutely not. While many general design characteristics of the first and second generation Siennas are the same, most of the specific details are different (such as dimensions). The rear body structure is especially different, due to accommodations for the third-row seat folding into the floor, and so the hitch mounting points are entirely different.

Fortunately, hitch receivers are readily available for the second generation, and they are simple bolt-ons.
