Trunk loading

I have to carry around my electric wheelchair plus the lift required to get the chair in and out. The total weight is around 300lbs. What can I or should I do to help preserve the vehicle which is a 2013 XLE van? Should I replace the struts and if so what with?
Thanks

Re: Trunk loading

300 pounds isn't that much cargo in a Sienna but if you are carrying it at the very back of the vehicle then air bags might help keep the vehicle level and the headlights on the road. Here is a link to one of the threada about Air Lift air bags: Air Lift Rear Air Bag
