interchangeable passenger side sliding door handle

My handle broke off the passenger side of the sliding door, can I switch them out?Without having to be a rocket scientist,one more thing I can't open the passenger side slider from the inside.Any help would be greatly received, Thanks in advance

Yes you could replace them fairly easily. Go slow and don't ever force parts- if something isn't coming off, you might have forgotten a fastener or screw. Issue is getting parts- best would be find a salvage yard that will let you take off what you need, you can break theirs :-) to figure out how to take apart yours.
