SIENNA VAN MEET/GET TOGETHERS

I've noted in the past that different Toyota owner groups have car meets/get togethers throughout North America. The most recent I saw was in Niagara Falls, Ontario where the Matrix owners met. Does anyone know if there are any Sienna owner groups that get together once in awhile??

Unfortunately, I think the only place where "we all" meet seems to be online.....or in school parking lots or at friends' houses that happen to have a lot of families with Siennas.

BUT, you are welcome to try and start something. 8)

Topsy, since you in SoCal too, maybe we could get something going round here?

Trying to transform my 07 LE into some sort of Bug Out vehicle, i know not the most off road applicable vehicle out there but am doing my damnest to give it some lift and install some chunky 225/70/16 tires on. All in all its best i got to fit in family with better gas milage, tires etc etc..

There was a member (sorry....forgot his name) at the old site that converted his interior into a "camper/sleeper cabin" and he posted pics of his off-road adventures into the wilderness......had some really cool/scenic pics of his Sienna in the "wild".

I think many of us that have Siennas also have families so it is sometimes difficult to plan AND commit to "just meeting some other car people". We're lucky if we are within 1hr of our daily "schedule".....and planning any type of "special outing" is usually an exercise in frustration and high-blood pressure. And then there's the cost of fuel these days. ~sigh~

I think a different demographic with different cars might work better. Just the other day we were out and saw a looooong parade of Mustangs on the freeway heading towards Orange County. I know if I were still single I'd probably be more into "car stuff/shows" (as I used to be), but nowadays I have other priorities. There are some other car-events that happen in SoCal that popup from time-to-time and we might go to those on an impromptu/spur-of-the-moment or "since we were in the area anyway" basis....nothing really "planned".

We do have a large base of members here in SoCal. I encourage you to try and arrange something.....a ball game, movie opening, beach outing, camping excursion, theme park visit, charity/fundraiser drive, whatever. I'm sure some people would be interested, it's just a matter of coordinating schedules.

We do meet, it's called CYBERSPACE :o LOL.

With the current robbery at the gas pumps, It may be hard to convince us to all get together.

If it were to happen, it may freak people out to see convoys of Sienna's down an interstate!

not many people into the 2G siennas here - or even the 1G.

there are a couple of people with very nice previas, though - they went the JDM VIP route, and went so far as ordering body kits, parts, etc... directly from japan (including Juntion Produce stuff) to really set their vans apart from the usual rim/tire/good to go crowd.
