Pics of Sienna SE with 6 Parking Sensor System (placement)

I got an aftermarket parking sensor system installed that looks very OE. We had some pics of the Sienna Limited bumper to help with positioning. Problem was the SE has different bumpers. So I decided to post these to help others with their placement.
Also there is a pic of the small display that we installed above the center dash speaker(?). It measures left to right in feet (and "bars"), and has its own volume control on the display. It is not intrusive, and remains black until necessary.
I got it with installation for $550. It came in white, so no paint, no fuss.

The front are always on but are sensing only 4' or less. Very unobtrusive.

I will try to find the brand meanwhile.

Niiice! I suppose the bumpers were removed and the sensors are wired all the way to the unit?

The bumper covers were removed. Though I didn't do it, it looked relatively easy. Wired from there.

Just got an SE last week and am also interested in adding parking sensor. Can you provide the brand of the parking sensor system? Also, now that you've had it for a few weeks, any issues with it?

I will call my installer tomorrow to get the brand.
Otherwise, the system works fantastic, very unobtrusive. I only hear it (and see it) when it is supposed to work. It's easy to forget that we added that on, it feels very OE. It is very accurate too.

Hi Thanasi - I installed rear sensors to my SE bumper. I'm looking to see if you know where to tap for the reverse wire without removing the rear hatch cover. I want to avoid running wires from the hatch to the sensor computer box. Thanks in advance.

I think he got the reverse from the tail light.
As far as the name, I talked to my installer, he says it is one of two that all installers supply (the kit comes in a box without name brand - sorry). I suggest using the pic of the dash unit to help you locate that one.

Re: Pics of Sienna SE with 6 Parking Sensor System (placement)

There is no switch for on off, I don't think you need one---it's black all the time except when parking (near something). At which time it shows digits & bars (in green and red) on the left or right side, with beeps that change in frequency. Volume control is a discrete black dial on the display pod.
But if you have an SE, use my pics as a template to place your spots. It's not that simple, because of the curves compared to the more flat bumper on the Limited "oe" spots.

    Thanks for the pictures Thanasi.

For the rear, I mainly want it for the 2 outer ones since the camera seems to get cut off and shows only the inside one.
sucks that I can't find the right color on a set for the silver sky-I'm wondering if repainting it will cause any malfunction
