    Because you have the Limited where it's standard equipment.

    I got a '13 XLE AWD and was a bit surprised to see that it had a huge aerial. Thought about getting one with RES as they don't have the giant fender-mounted aerials. I ended up getting this from Amazon, seems to work pretty well. I'd still remove it if I went through a non touch-free car wash though as I think you'd run the risk of ripping the base out otherwise.

    Does this flex at all? I guess I'm wondering if I'd have to worry about some teenager grabbing it and damaging the car itself.

    Here is my semi homemade antenna. I took a old flex whip antenna I had laying around from my Audi and used the universal adapters that came with a cheap universal antenna kit I originally bought. I put them together and used a cable cover from Radio Shack to give it a finished look. No reception issues or auto car wash issues.

    2012 Sienna SE
    - Predawn Mica Gray - moon roof
    35% tint - front windows / Xenon depot extreme HID kit w/ 4300k Morimoto XB35 (headlights) / Xentec HID w/5000k (fog lights) /
    H&R DRS spacers 15mm front & 20mm rear / Garmin GPS hidden wire mod / 16" euro whip antenna / Husky all weather floor liners: front/2nd row/3rd row/cargo / LED interior lights / Curt Hitch

    Future mods:
    Parking sensor / LED rear bumper light

    Distant Future mods:
    20" wheels
