I like the airstream. Not sure what is going on, but I can't see the words in this post until I reply, then I can see them in the reply window. I was going to ask about the airstream, but I can see the words below.

Edit: the problem was a missing bracket at the end of the image tag. Seem to get random pictures...i'm an html idiot.

The 6 sd tranny is great for towing in 5th. The trailer weighs about 4000 lbs but is quite streamlined.

A picture of our 2006 Limited towing our 2004 Fleetwood Westlake (UVW 2970 lbs). Outfitted with Curt Hitch, Airlift 1000 spring helper bags(inflated to 27 psi), Prodigy Brake Controller, and a Reese 350 Mini WDH. Took the six of us (2 adults, 4 kids) to Disney's Fort Wilderness for Christmas. Towed it about 2400 Miles RT averaging 65-70MPH and 15.75 MPG. Had some strong crosswinds on the trip back along I-10 and with the Reese it barely even flinched. All-in-all couldn't have been happier with the Sienna's performance.

My dad took out for a little trailering driver's ed with his Rockwood Minilite this past weekend. At ~3500lb dry I was impressed how the van handled pulling that much weight. In fact on the flats I saw no real difference from the 1500lb Flagstaff that I took camping last summer. Worth noting this trailer had brakes and wow does it make a big difference when stopping (My Prodigy P2 worked great).

Can't wait to get my Roo!

    Happy Camping!

Looks very nice. we started with an 18ft hybrid and have moved onto a 19ft, dual axle slide unit. The sienna handles both without issue. Having trailer brakes is a must. You'll love the roo.

    Toyota Sienna 2000 LE
Siemens 2006 trailer with box in the front
    1998 Yamaha Waveventure 1100

The trailer is heavy than my old 1994 Siemens trailer. But I drive from San Bernardino, California to Lake Havasu City, Arizona its about 245miles and it does it with no problems at all!
I want to get the air lift bags 1000 because with people in the bank it sags a lot!

    Hello,

This is our 2004 Sienna FWD V6 (Canadian Version) with Airlift 1000's installed picking up the new 2011 Lund 1700 Tyee and the maiden launch.
We are looking forward to many more years of towing with our Sienna.
Thanks for all the tips and advice on this forum, it has been a great help.

    First Post:

    2007 Toyota Sienna LE AWD
2005 Trail Lite Trail Cruiser C17
    Curt Hitch
    Prodigy P2 Brake Controller

Empty it tipped the scales just over 2800lbs.
First tow I would estimate at right about or under 3000lbs as we only added 3 sleeping bags, a couple dozen drinks, some food, chairs, a few toys, and clothes.

I have airbags, NOT installed and will be adding those and a weight distributing hitch soon.

Re: show us what you are towing

The C-17 looks good . looks like the tongue weight isn't sagging the rear of the van too much, but the airbags and WDH make things a lot less bouncy and controlled on the highway.
