2008 XLE Limited, which is mechanically doing well. It has 126,455 miles, new tires, and a solid mechanical history, but the tailgate won't open. Not only does it not lift, it's a heavy SOB. It no longer stays up when I lift it, and if I let it go, it slams like a guillotine. I'm hoping there is something I can do without it costing an arm and a leg.
