    i tap into the rear view mirror for power and brought 12v usb converter hide it in the headliner and used the regular usb cable to connect to the dashcam i forgot which wire is which but i believe the white with black wire is ground and the blue wire is power on the rear view mirror plug.

    for the driver side u first need to take off 17mm nut for the front engine mount, remove the the driver side motor mount nuts and the dog bone mount too. use a jack with wood block to jack up the engine so that u can take out the driver side engine mount(u don't have to) it should give u enough...
