Good Morning, Well it seems the dreaded CV axle finally is starting to fail, although the dealer replaced CV boots not too long ago. When going in a straight line, it clunks mildly, and when turning wheel to the right slightly is clunks very loudly. I have purchased the passenger side CV axle...

I'm in process of replacing the passenger side CV axle on a '07 Sienna. (This started as an attempt to replace the wheel bearing, then the original CV axle fell apart at the intermediate joint as I was trying to wrestle the hub back onto the axle, and here I am.) I have a brand new axle that...

Is it possible to get transmission fluid coming from the inner axle boot? Driver side. I have a dark runny fluid coming from the inner axle boot on my 2006 Sienna. 75k miles. It's too dark to tell if its the purple fluid from the transmission. I'm guessing its because its mixing with CV...
