  1. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
In the past, what ever settings I entered on the AC stays until I change them. The AC runs fine while I'm driving. If I turn off the ignition and turn it back on, the AC does not come back on. I have to physically turn it back on. This did not happen before. I'd appreciate any advice.

Hey Everybody, I just picked up a used 2014 LE and have really been enjoying it. However, I decided to setup the handsfree system, and I get no beep or voice prompt when I press the offhook button or the talk button. Do I need to somehow turn the system on ? Or is there a way to reboot it ...

**Update - On my way in to dealer this morning I figure I might as well check it before pulling into the midtown tunnel (and fighting the traffic). It's suddenly working:). Either my car is schizo or I've got a lose connection somewhere. Would be great to hear of anyone else having this...

1999 Sienna....driver side mirror was broken, so I replaced it. After installing the replacement mirror, the up/down controls work, but the inboard/outboard positioning does not work....on BOTH the driver and passenger sides......before replacement, all controls worked fine (including on the...

Does anyone know whether or not the A/C controls from a 2011 (12, 13, etc) Sienna Limited would be plug and play in a 2011 Sienna LE? I'm mostly interested in the AUTO feature, but not sure if I need any additional parts to make it work properly...for instance, the GPS radio for display purposes...

Update on the below, including solution: The BOSS head unit completely died, so I purchased a PYLE PLDNV78I (Only $200 on Amazonas of 6/2014) head unit instead. It's a great unit, and the BOSS unit really wasn't... The BOSS head unit must have been faulty, as the PYLE unit works with the...
  9. General Discussion (Gen 3)
Hello! Detailed story: I am trying to get the steering wheel controls working with an aftermarket Boss BV9380NV head unit in my 2009 Sienna LE (Without JBL audio). The Boss head unit has the steering wheel control connector (it's own interface), so it doesn't need the PAC or Axxess control...

No matter what setting I put on the controls it will only blow out air that is as if it is on the highest heat setting. The air conditioner light comes on and you can even put your hand on the compressor lines on a warm day and feel that they are cold and tell that the compressor is comming on...

I am a new owner of a used van that is a basic model with no bells and whistles. What I'd really like is to have stereo controls on the steering wheel and am wondering if this is something that is possible to do on my own. If so, how? The steering wheel has the black plastic pieces over it...

The roof window is controlled by the "rocker" switch overhead. Pressing the rocker switch does not open the window, even when pressed HARD. I am not close to a Toyota dealer. There are two dealers (Nashville, Clarksville), each 100 miles roundtrip. I know (and trust) a body shop four miles from...

As much as we love our '97 Rav4, our growing family is in the market for a Sienna. We recently took a look at a 2011 LE and 2010 LE side by side at a dealer. After a thorough look, it seems like the '10 is a better option; I like the dashboard styling much better, though I'd give a slight nod...

Has anyone successfully retrofitted the limit OEM parts to work on a non-limited trim Sienna yet?

A friend replaced the steering rack and the intermediate u-joint shaft on my 2004 sienna. Now the controls on the steering wheel i.e. to the radio, horn, and cruise control don't work. Plus there is a light for the airbag on in the dash. Also intermittently the skid control icon with a beeping...

I have a 2007 XLE AWD and the front heater fan doesn't work. (I have no power to the fan) Rear heater works fine and all the lights and functions on the automatic heater control appear to be working properly. I have traced the large fan wire back to the fuse panel/relay. There is power at the...

Will soon be buying an aftermarket unit to put in a 2000 sienna CE, will probably be a pioneer or JVC. It has the steering wheel controls but I cannot find an adapter unit that will work. According to online sources, metra and PAC-audio don't make one that will work with a 2000 sienna. Has...

I just purchased a 2012 LE and it has manual climate controls. I would like to have the auto climate controls that the SE has. I am wondering if I could buy the Climate control piece with all the switches on it and swap it with the controls in my LE. I know that sometimes manufacturers make...

The button to operate the driver side sliding door seems to require a lot more pressure to operate as compared to the passenger side sliding door control. When I pointed this to the Toyota technician, he claimed this was normal. I am not convinced... any one else out there have this problem? The...
