Curious on the groups thoughts…my 2006 Sienna needs a tranny pan gasket replaced. While talking with the dealer, I told my advisor that since they have the pan off, why don’t they pop in a new transmission filter/screen? He said Toyota doesn’t recommend replacing it. Yes, my dealer talks me...

Wondering if anyone has done an oil filter relocation on the Gen 4 yet... My wife used to have a Subaru Outback and the oil filter was staring right at you when you opened the hood. I do all of my own maintenance and when the floor of my garage is zero degrees here in Minnesota, I REALLY wish I...

We have a 2011 Sienna LE with 59,000 miles on it. Except for the regular oil changes, tire rotation, and the brake service, we haven't done much regular maintenance on it since we bought it from the showroom, except for may be a couple of times. It's a great van that's in an excellent...

I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna. When removing the oil filter housing I dropped it and the perforated tube, spring and disc came out. How do these parts fit back together? It looks to me the spring goes on first, the disc goes on next, then the perforated tube over that. Please help!

What is the correct cap size for 2013 oil filter wrench? I looked up Toyota part size 09228-06501 on Ebay and results came back with 65mm 14 Flutes End and 64mm 14 Flutes End. They all claimed that the wrench would work for 2013 Sienna.

I recently flushed my transmission fluid and changed my transmission filter on my 2004 Sienna. Here were some observations for people who are considering doing this. I used Toyota T-IV fluid for the flush. The fluid cost $5.60 a quart from the dealer. This was the best deal on a suitable fluid...

I just changed the engine air filter and the cabin air filter for the first time. I got this 2004 Sienna LE 2 years ago with 50k miles and faithfully change the oil every 4k with Mobil 1. Today, the Sienna has 76k miles and runs flawlessly every time I go to drive it. The attachment with the...

Greetings, i recently changed both axles on my Sienna and in the process noticed that my aft was very black. After changing engine air filter I forgot to plug electrical connector back into air filter box. I ran my van for a day before I put it back. Now I am getting P2197 (B2S1). Any idea if replacing sensor is the only option for me now or cleaning it may work. If I pull sensor out what is the best...

The cabin air filter P/N 87139-YZZ05 ($21 dealer price) appears to have been replaced by P/N 87139-YZZ19 ($29) which shows up in charts as a Lexus filter. The dealer parts guy claimed it was what his computer showed. It fit okay but has more pleats and the material seems be less porous. Due...
