If the second row seats are removable, it might make a great camper. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/toyota-highlander-suv-rumor/

  4. General Discussion (Gen 3)
i have an offer with my local dealer on a 2015 Sienna SE, but now i'm hesitating because the new Highlander is growing on me, and the price isn't that far apart if similarly equipped. we only have one 3 year old in our family, so an SUV is more than enough to handle the chores. has anyone here...
  5. General Discussion (Gen 1)
I would like to buy highlander wheel and tires to put on my van, they are bigger, 245/55/19. except the odometer difference, is it going to work, Mechanicanly , will it broke something, tires are 0.8 inch taller. I wonder about the offset also and if it will hit something? thanks for advises
  6. Buy Sell Trade & Group Buys
The story...bought these on ebay from Concord Lexus/Toyota late May with the intention of replacing front brake pads myself. Turns out today during a local 'sale' my wife ended up trading in our van and leasing a 2013. So...I now have some brake pads that I don't need. They are still in the box...
  7. Shopping, Test Driving & Service
With our 2nd kid due next month, our 1997 Rav4, as much as we love it will not be an option for my wife's daily driving. The reliability of our 15 yr old Rav has been so good it left an impression and I want to stick with Toyota. Unless we really get wowed by something else over the next 2...

Interesting that the 2.7liter Highlander has an actual tow rating of 3500lbs. http://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/vehicles/highlander/specifications/capacity
  9. General Discussion (Gen 3)
I found a good deal on a set of 17" Highlander Ltd rims and slapped on a set of 235/60-17 Blizzaks and aftermarket TPMS. Thought these wheels actually look pretty good on the Sienna. I've seen several folks asking about other rims so thought you might like to see em in use.
  10. Tires, Wheels, & Tire Pressure Monitors (TPMS)
Ok well, i got to it at last. The object to this combination was multiple reasons, wanted a tire that i can use offroad (gravel/dirt), load capacity, higher tire to give me a little body lift. I got all, wished i could push it upto to 235's but i think it would have been a little too much over...
  11. General Discussion (Gen 3)
Anyone know which rims from other Toyota cars or trucks will fit the 2011+ Sienna (SE in particular)? I heard somewhere that all Toyotas have the same bolt pattern, but I'm not sure if that's true. Anyone know what the offset specs are for our vans? I would imagine prior generation Sienna rims...
  12. General Discussion (Gen 2)
I'm trying to find out if the new highlander uses a different AWD system than the current Siennas and if it has a different chassis as well. If it's different, is it better, stronger???
  13. Minivan Comparisons
(Okay this is a bit non-serious...) The dealer gave us a Toyota Highlander Hybrid as a loaner vehicle while we're waiting for our 2010 to arrive. We have 4 kids, so they needed to give us something that seated six. They had loaned us an '06 sienna first, but then they sold it out from under us...
