We took it to the dealer for the first "check-up" but they could not replicate it. I believe it only occurs in the sun. I finally was able to get it recorded to show them but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas why this is happening. Thanks.

My Sienna 2008 has started showing check engine lights at 80K miles. I noticed that if I open and close the gas cap it goes away and comes back after 30 mins of driving or so. Could this be related to gas cap or just that check engine lights get reset sometimes by such action Please help

I see our 2011 Sienna won't let the power side doors open while we're stopped in drive, only in park. Is it possible in any way (settings, dealer, etc.) to change that somehow? Thanks, Eliezer

My passenger power sliding door seems to be not opening all the way. I need to push it a little bit so it 'locks' in the open position. If I don't push it, sometimes it slide to close a bit, then the motor engages to close the door. Is there some adjustment I need to make to the cable? thanks.

On sliding door. I had to remove it from it's mount so the door would open. This door has been inoperable for some time, only today have I tried to open it up and take a look. I could not open it for more than a couple inches until I removed this thing from it's mount/clip. Any idea what it is?

When operating the sliding door from the outside handle, a pop noise can be heard from the sliding door’s front and/or rear latch assembly when the door opens. This Tech Tip was also posted to one of the door noise topics.

the door will not close or open on it's open. I have to use the inside or outside hand to help it with the initial push. Once I pull the handle it will open or close on it's own. I can here it try to open or close, but it just wouldn't move. Does something need to be adjusted?

sad to see siennaclub down. Anyway, the driver's side door creaks bad when opening. I tried lithium grease and it did not eliminate it. Now I fear the door is getting worse and popping more? Anyone experience this? Any recalls on this problem? Its on a '06 LTD AWD. Thanks!
