I was wondering if a 2011+ Sienna (3rd generation) compact spare rim will fit on a 2004+ Sienna (2nd generation). I believe the bolt pattern (5x114.3) and bore size (60.1mm) are the same, though the 2011 spare rim has greater clearance for the larger brake calipers. Thank you very much.

I have an AWD '07 Sienna and I want to replace the runflats with "normal" tires. I wanted to buy a 16" steel rim for a spare but the salesman at the local tire shop said that the 16" steel rim wouldn't fit over the front tire brakes. Is there any truth to this? Will it fit over the rear brakes?
