  2. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
I'm going to be replacing the struts and shocks on my 2005 FWD LE and was curious if there are any miscellaneous parts or pieces I should replace in the process. Is there a "strut kit" or any recommended items? It's seems there are often nickel and dime components that are associated with a...

  4. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 1)
I've started to notice a rattle when I go over bumps, and inspecting the rear shocks I see the rubber bushings where they attach at the bottom are dried, shrunken and cracked, and I can manually rattle the shock. The shocks themselves seem to respond fine to a downward push on the bumper, and I...

So I buy this clear one owner 2005 Sienna that runs like a dream. Not a squeak or rattle during the test dive. Two days later on a rougher road there is a sound of metal to metal clanking. In the process of finding the problem I jacked up the rear to find the top half (plastic dust cover) was...

  13. Problems & Issues
When I drive out of a particular driveway in my 08 Sienna (we bought used with 33Kmiles) it always seems to scrape as we go into the street. Something on the front gets low enough to scrape the asphalt When I use my dad's 04 Sienna, his van is fine, no scraping. does this mean I need new shocks?
  14. OEM & aftermarket products, mods & accessories
It is time for new shocks / struts on my Sienna after 69K miles. As far as brand, I'll probably go with Toyota OEM, Bilstein or KYB. Anything I should consider here? Also, I usually change the strut mounts / strut bearings when I have done my other cars as they do wear and will eventually give...
