2011 sienna v6. Pulled the plugs to change, and one of the plugs has oil on top, not underneath. The leak seems to be the bottom of the spark plug tube. measured the tube height, and it is the same of the other 2 tubes, is there a seal at the bottom of this tube, maybe the tube is a press fit...

Greetings everyone, I would like to give my wife's Sienna a tune-up. However I heard it can be quite challenging. I once saw a detailed illustration on youtube; I mean down to the torque specs and recommended tools. But can not find this video anywhere. The person that was working on the...

I just changed the spark plugs and the spark plug wires on my 1998 sienna and I might have crossed the wires going to the ignition coils. Can any one tell me which spark plugs shares which ignition coil because I am getting an intermittent misfire on #3 and #6 spark plugs. I appreciate your help!

Haven't posted in a while but recently changed some things out some of you might be interested. I bought my van new in March of 2006, Sienna LE. Other than brake pads and oil changes every 5k, everything has been great. Of course, it eats tires. About 3 thousand miles ago, I bought new El Dorado...

These are two of the 6 spark plugs I just took out from my 02 Sienna. These plugs (Denso SK20R11) are <3000 miles old (or say young?) What can you tell, for the engine, by looking at them in the pictures? Thanks.

When one reads spark plug reviews, people say the engine runs better with new plugs. While some of that could be due to better gap in new plugs, I'm afraid some of that is placebo, like better running engine after oil change. Now, I understand that one can measure firing voltage via...

Here's our situation: We drive a Sienna 06 and are on vacation in Orlando. We arrived here with no issues, but on restating the van a few days later it was "shaky" when driving. We took it to a car care center and they said it was a severe spark plug misfire on #4, and that we needed new plugs...

I want to let a basic mechanic do this. The one I like services all cars. He only changed me like $75 to replace the front brake pads and rotors, which I supplied him. But I don't consider him a top-notch mechanic whom I would go to for a difficult diagnosis and problem. I also read that...

Hi, I just changed my 3.3l V6 Sienna spark plugs at 120,000 miles. I got a guide here for a 2007 CE which was well written and very helpful but there was enough difference in the 3.3 vs. 3.5 l engine that I thought I would put together a guide to help someone else doing the same job. The...

Hey All I have a 1998 Sienna handed down to me from my folks. 206k and going strong. My dad was religious about maintenance. I took it in for a 30k service and did most of the recommended items but to change spark plugs was over $400! I've changed plugs before and I'd like to try to get these...

It's about time for me to do a plug replacement 150,000 (kinda late) So im just wondering recommendations for replacement plugs. On my matrix i used the iridium plugs. Should i just get OEM or any other recommendations. Also anyone have install instructions for 08 sienna?
  20. Sienna Care & Maintenance
2008 Sienna with the 3.5L. Wow...Replacing the spark plugs has to be one of the most difficult things I have done to a vehicle. The head gasket on my civic was easier (but took more time). Anyone who says that this job can be done without removing the intake plenum or windshield cowl either...
