  1. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 3)
Hi!I have a 2015 XLE and noticed that the wipers and the lighting stalks are not illuminated at night. This seemed strange since the cruise control stalk does light up (and flicker). The dealer tells me that they are not supposed to light up, but I wanted to check with you folks to see if that...

I have a 2012 Sienna. The rear wiper blade makes contact with the window for about the top 2/3 of the rubber, but then doesn't touch the window as it starts to curve. I've replaced the wiper blade but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? The wiper swings back and forth just like it's...
  3. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
Hi, all. I have a 2010 Sienna and replaced the wipers with Reflex Hybrid blades. Major mistake. They suck and chatter across the windshield making a horrible sound. But not always. It will go across smoothly enough once, twice or maybe a half-dozen times. Then the next wipe (or two, or three or...

I have a 04 sienna and some how the driver side wiper arm got got broken after letting a cousin drive it. Oh well ...I checked around at the dealerrs and they want 110 dollars and up for just a arm. Sounds kind of high to me. I also checked around in some parts yard and have had no luck. Does...

I have a 2011 Sienna, basic model. We are on a long road trip and our windshield fluid won't come out of the nozzles. When we check, the nozzles aren't covered with ice or blocked, and it looks like the washer fluid is slushy. Is this a common problem? We've only had this issue on this...
  6. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
Hi everyone, Proud new owner of a 2004 Sienna here and I find myself a little stumped with what should be a very easy detail, but I'm hoping you guys can enlighten me. Just to give a little background, my Sienna is a Canadian build, CE, built in June 2003. I'm looking to buy a rear wiper for...
Snow, ice, freezing rain, and frigid temperatures make winter driving treacherous; nevertheless you're prepared, right? But what about your wiper blades? If they're the same ones that baked on your windshield all summer then you could be in for problems. How do you know if your wiper blades...
  8. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 1)
I am trying to remove the cowl top to make the rear cam seal replacement easier. I also want to change the spark plugs. After I took off the wiper arm cap and removed the nut I just could not remove the wiper arm. I tried to pull it or even to pry (not very hard)but they just wouldn't come off...
  9. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
My rear wiper now stops in the up position when I turn it off. Also, when it's on, it goes off the glass and onto the door in the downswing. The wiper works, just not properly. Any ideas what's going on?
  10. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
I found the instructions posted from this forum for the 2004 and 2005 with the plastic cap covered the end of the wiper arm, but the 2010 seems to be little different - Can someone show me how to remove the rear wiper for the 2010 Sienna? Thank you very much in advance...

2006 Sienna LE: The "sweep' of the wiper arm on the tailgate is not even: On the left side it leaves the lowest 4" unswept while on the right side it goes down beyond the glass on to the taillight. I can't see anything on the wiper arm that would allow for adjustments. Any suggestions?
  14. Problems, Maintenance, and Repair (Gen 2)
Any ideas where to start? My rear wiper freely swings down. I had the rear window replaced about 2 years ago, and since the wiper goes through the glass, I'm guessing something was not done correctly. Just wondering if anyone has worked on them and where/how to start. Thanks in advance!!

My driver's side windshield wiper isn't working for some reason. Last week, the wiper blade apparently came off while cleaning snow off my windshield (2nd hand info as it was the mrs who this happened to, I was at work) and my neighbour helped put the wiper blade back on the wiper arm. When I...

Last Summer our 2003 Sienna's wipers started to make a creaking noise when in motion. I took the wiper arms off and continued to hear the same sound. My thought is that the wiper linkage is beginning to sieze. Last year my 1999 VW Jetta had the wiper linkage siezed. I installed a new linkage...

I apologize if this has been brought up before, but I tried to search to see and couldn't find anything. I have a 2011 Sienna and I'm trying to replace the windshield wipers, but not having any luck. I purchased the Michelin Stealth wiper blades as I figured they would be good for the coming...

The rear window wiper arm on my 2004 Sienna broke. I would like to buy an OEM or alternate generic wiper arm for a minivan that fits the 2004 Sienna. Does anyone have a suggestion where I can buy one? The original Toyota parts price seems a bit high.
  19. Problems & Issues
So here's the thing, I wash my car, keep it really clean and always make sure there is fluid in the reservoir. (I hate my windows to be dirty) Recently though, I have noticed that the driver side actually SPRAYS on the windshield while the passenger side merely only "spits"! My husband has...

During a recent rain, I noticed that there is a small triangular area near the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side that is completely missed. Is that normal? I have 19k miles and the blades and wiper arms are original.
