I removed the fuel pump assembly (thru the floor) and disected it completlely. the actual pump is part AF 195 150-6610 and the pressure regulator is part 23280-20040 both are denso parts. TOYOTA DIY isn^t helpful as they list the complete assembly as $722! The actuall pump doesn^t spin with 12v and ground connected and I'm not sure how the test the FPR which is another $150. Can anyone help me with sourcing these parts? I am having zero luck...tx

For that kind of money I'd risk after market. If you've already cut a hole in the floor to make swapping easy next time, might as well take advantage. Found a fuel pump for your 04 on Fleabay for $70sh, Rockauto $61-$190sh.
Already bought a spare pump for my 99, just in case, $15. Have used after market pumps on other vehicles successfully.
AIRTEX Includes Fuel Pump, Sending Unit, Float, Fuel Reservoir and Fuel Strainer on clearance at RockAuto for $60.
