Here is the 2005 Sienna Repair Manual (wrongly titled as 2004-2007...)
http://files.fm/down.php?i=cwppbm&n=2005_Sienna_Repair_Manual.7z

EDIT: The alternative link (requieres a valid e-mail address to get the file): http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/235134/2005_Sienna_Repair_Manual.7z EDIT: Looks that link doesn't work (at least for me). Later L'll find other option to upload.

Some notes.
1. Expand using free 7-zip utility (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html). Folder "Toyota" have to be in the root of the drive.
2. Open index.html to see documents under different categories or index1.html to see single list of documents.

NB: If you use Firefox without IeTab plugin, after opening any link in index.html, it is impossible to open PDF from the list. Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox with IeTab plugin works fine. EDIT: Firefox 3.5.3 works fine.

Edit: Strange, that clicking the top link doesn't cause downloading -- it is necessary to click the filename on the page opened to download the file. If you copy the link and paste to your browser, everything is OK.

EDIT: File re-uploaded to filehosting.org but link doesn't work for me (June 5, 2011)

I think I also saw the same manual at the Siennaclub.RU (Russia) site.....likely unrelated to the "old" site many of us are familiar with (??).
Hmmmm....looks like they revamped the layout. When I briefly browsed it a while ago it was easy to find, but now it's buried somewhere....
Anyway....see [Romualds]' link above. 8)

What information is missing? Information about differential is under folder 29. Open file index1.html and you'll see the section named "29. Differential"

I have three different versions of the repair manual with two different naming of the folders. I uploaded the best working version IMO.

Wonder if there is a way to compile all the versions into one?
If anyone will show what is missing in the manual published, I will look for it in other versions of the manual.

I don't see other reason to "compile all versions into one".

Hello all:
I've tried downloading this 2005 Sienna Repair Manual to no avail. If someone can kindly explain how I can do it. Thanks.

Any chance someone has a supplement to cover the 2008, if that's how Toyota does it?
I don't believe that Toyota does anything like a model year supplement, and probably hasn't for a long time. They revise the manual each year (and were doing so even in 1984), and post all versions in their on-line system.

Where can I find service manual for 2004 xle ltd?? thanks for help
I believe that you can use this manual for 2004 too. I do.

BTW, there wasn't Limited in 2004, only XLE

There was a Limited in 2004, but it was described as an extension of the XLE - thus the description by vikas3576 as a "xle ltd" - rather than being marketed as a separate trim level.

Toyota Canada's 2004 brochure for the Sienna is attached to the topic Electronic brochures for Canadian Siennas, and I think there is a US equivalent somewhere (as well as links to them directly from Toyota). In the feature table, the Limited is not shown along with CE, LE, and XLE; instead the "XLE Limited Package" is offered (apparently available only on AWD vehicles).

Yes, there are minimal differences from 2004 to 2005, so the 2005 manual is quite applicable to any 2004.

IIRC, from past old discussions at the old site, 2005 had a few electrical/"computer" related changes from 2004. Also, the factory entertainment (radio, DVD, etc), and NAV had some changes. Other than that, most other systems and components are the same....especially mechanical. 2006 introduced more changes.

YMMV.
Good Luck!! 8)

I downloaded it and 'unzipped' it into something like 100-150 folders with a few pages in each. Is that really what was supposed to happen?? I put in some time using Acrobat to try and reassemble it, but it takes ages to put together 100 continuous pages. Is there a better way of viewing this? Thanks!

I did. I downloaded the fancy unzipper, as win-zip doesn't do this compression. Clicking on either autorun or index will open the document browser-style, but running active-x from a site linked to RU sites doesn't give me a warm feeling! I'm looking for a simple .pdf document with less interactivity and less risk to my laptop! That is where I stopped. Call me conservative, but I've seen what can happen!

No kidding

I have not downloaded this particular version, but I do have a version which another member was kind enough to send to me on CD. In that one, the HTML index file uses an ActiveX control, but it is entirely unnecessary. I edited the HTML file(s) to remove the use of ActiveX, and it works fine. (I also fixed the path specification to work relative to the index file location, so it works from anywhere is it copied, rather than only in the root of the drive where it is located). It is nice that people have helpfully assembled the manual, but that doesn't mean they are well-qualified technically. It's not really my expertise, either, so someone else may want to look at this particular distribution's index/table of contents files and propose an improvement.

These manual collections are normally a large number of PDF files because that is how the material is presented by the Toyota Information System; someone has tediously waded through the material and downloaded each section as a file. Something like the full version of Acrobat is needed to properly concatenate the many files into one PDF, and even then I don't know how the table of contents would work... and I have not tried it.

I'm in the process of giving it a try. I have Acrobat but hardly use it, so I'm largely unskilled. Nothing like trying it out to learn! Today I converted a few hundred pages and labeled them by section. After I get a large enough block done, I'll try combining sections and see if I can create a new interactive table. The biggest headache is that the page numbers become jumbled due to the multiple duplicate file names that are themselves not in alphabetical order. I'm spending most of my time reordering pages.

If I ever get it running, maybe I can donate it back to Siennachat. I owe you guys something for all that I have learned here!

Open index1.html and you'll see a page with simple links to PDF files without any active control.
Enjoy!

Odd - I see the file index.html but not index1.html

I’m in the process of restructuring the manual for my use as a semi-searchable PDF that does not require any active-X or web page involvement. I’m also adding in a variety of stuff from other sources to make it a more complete single document, and more applicable to my 2008 with the 2GR-FE engine. It would be nice if there was simply a more up to date manual out there, but this appears to be the best there is.

As you may have seen, the ‘sections’ don’t appear to be all there, at least from a sequential section numbering standpoint. It runs up to 99, but there are under 50 sections visible. Page-wise, the manual goes up to around 3500 and most are there except two big missing chunks. Thinking I might have accidently deleted them, I’ve download & unzipped it twice, but everything seems to match.

Missing pages are from Section 5 – Diagnostics:

Pages 1 to 343 which look to be engine related

Pages 634 to 757 which I think are HVAC & Power Steering

Could someone verify whether they can see them?
