Does anyone know the factory-preferred brake bleed order? I normally do RR, LR, RF, LF (i.e. furthest to closest), but I've seen some shop manuals for certain cars specify a different order, so I wanted to know if anyone knew the 'official' order. Thanks in advance.

It’s a good question because there’s a lot of shade tree speculation out there on the interwebs. For decades, I used the farthest to closest method as you described. I’ve read that some ABS systems require a different sequence. I’d consult an official Toyota service manual.

Does anyone know if the ABS module is posted in the rear, or in the front in a 2011 Sienna LE?

I was going to do the traditional method of bleeding the brakes, starting from the furthest point from the master cylinder to the closest--Rear Passenger side around to front driver side. However, I learned the opposite order is required if the ABS module is mounted in the rear.
