For some reason, the doors lock sometimes on their own when parked in my garage--I always lock them when parked outside. I back into my garage and after parking and shutting the engine off, I push the unlock button to make sure all doors are unlocked. Any ideas how to make sure they don't do this?

A common cause of a problem like yours is the dreaded disease "T.P.S." (Tight Pants Syndrome). Buttons on fobs can get depressed by other items in a pants pockets.
Just last night the alarm in our Prius was activated by something in my pocket pressed against the alarm button ... glad it was early evening and the neighbors probably weren't sleeping. Things like this have happened countless times on a variety of our vehicles.
I was disappointed when I got my Sienna that I could not open the windows and sunroofs by continually pressing the unlock button like I could on our Lexus cars. But I don't have to worry about having the windows/sunroofs opening accidentally. Lexus LS forums are filled with threads about windows and sunroofs inadvertently being opened when cars are sitting outside in the rain.
A solution is to take your key fob out of your pocket when you are home.

That is normal. If you hit the unlock button and do not open the door, the car thinks you mistakenly unlocked the car and will lock the doors after a certain amount of time. Try it out and watch. Hit unlock and do not open a door. After 60 seconds, it will lock itself. If you leave it unlocked and don't press the unlock on your key fob, it'll stay unlocked. If you do press the unlock on the key fob, open the door and close it. The car will not lock itself afterwards. My Honda and Subaru does the same thing.

I usually press the unlock button on the door after I have shut the engine off and opened the door. Key fob is usually out of my pocket and put in my key tray within 2-3 minutes of getting in the house. Guess I will have to leave the fob out of my pocket after I unlock it and double-check that I am pressing the unlock button last before I close the door.
