I have a whirring sound in the rear of the vehicle - I have a 2014 Toyota Sienna XLE with about 80,000 miles on it -- that is audible when we drive more than 15 mph:

We took the van to a dealership 3 or 4 months ago and they told us that it was "cupping" from the run-flat tires being older and they charged us $55 for the pleasure.
Now we're months along and having replaced all of the tires, we know it's not the tires making the sound.
It sure sounds like we may have to come up with $2000. Anybody have advice? Can we drive with this problem indefinitely if we don't mind the sound?
If many people are having this issue, why isn't this a recall issue?
