2014 XLE AWD hard downshift from 5th to 4th when going ~100 kmph

Hi,

I noticed recently that when driving on the freeway that it takes a lot of effort to stay at 100 kmph and when I take my foot off the gas, it seems to downshift hard (my wife thinks I'm hitting the brakes). This also happens when coasting down a large hill.

I also notice it when passing people and taking my foot of the gas (on uphills too).

We just hit 100,000 KM on it and I've only changed the oil regularly.

Also, when turning the wheel, it has a slight electrical whine to it, so weird.
