Well, it is 120k wake up call.
The temps are going to be in low 80s for the next week and I want to get this done.

How many of you have done this job?
Do you replace the gasket or clean the TX screen/filter regularly or if it aint broke dont fix it?

The TX flush seems a little more involved.

Are there any tools or pumps you guys like using to make this job fun?

I just did my 2012 a few weeks ago. I replaced the filter with a Beck Arnley 0440356, but used the a new OEM gasket, as the BA comes with a chinsy rubber gasket instead of the metal used on the OEM gasket. If you disconnect the tranmission return line on the back right of the radiator (if you are facing the car from the front) and connect a 3/8" tube to direct the fluid, you can switch all the fluid as opposed to just whats in the pan. See video.

Useful tip. Thank you. The temperature and volume of the fluid is of great concern to me however. I want to completely drain the fluid, replace the gasket and filter. My plan is to collect the fluid and carefully measure the volume. I will keep replacement fluid at the same ambient temperature and replace this amount. What comes out is what goes in.
i found a gasket filter set on Rock auto. I dont think the gasket or filter will matter much if pan is reinstalled properly Unless anyone has a experience with a generic gasket and filter….
