Way to go. Start another oil thread. LOL.
Dont worry, I can see you are new here so I'm just busting your chops because threads like these seem to stir up quite the hornets nest of opinions.
From what I've seen on here with all the battles I think it goes like this.
Sienna's say 0-20 for Canada and US models, and since thats whats on there for warranty purposes then it has to be the rule of God right.
The problem is apparently even new Sienna's sold in Mexico say 5-30.
There are other members on here from Mexico will hopefully see this and be able to chime in with a more educated response.
So is it really that critical what weight you use in the engine, or is it going to explode because you used one or the other?
Probably not. If you live in a much hotter or harsher environment maybe thats why it says you should run 5-30.
You probably dont see the brutal cold many in the north see and dont need an oil as thin as 0 weight.
Hell the Gen 4's now run 0-16 so even thinner.
At the end of they day you're probably going to be just fine with either oil, and not something you need to sweat over that badly.
But be prepared for the fire storm of opinions you've probably unleashed. And for God's sake, dont even mention the intervals. LOL.
