Just picked up a new 2022 rampvan from our local mobility dealer. This replaces our 2004 Sienna IMS rampvan which we owned for nearly 19 years. Interested in other’s experiences with this 2022 vehicle conversion.

We are enjoying our 22 XLE from Braun. Noise was the first thing we noticed. Noted loud whistling when we opened a window. In front of rear seat but behind door under lower panels (kind of a booger to remove without pulling a few Braun installed screws from their panels) you will find the former 2nd row seat cables. They are likely not capped and will whistle as air flows between cabin and rear wheel well. We pugged with some of that blue goo (used to clean computer stuff) because it was handy. Even when plugged, the interior (which is a big box) seems a little noisy as the pressures change. I'll be looking at sound deadening panels to roll inside the Braun panels and under front seats soon.

There does seem to be a lot of noise. The gas engine growls with even mild acceleration and there is something like an air or wind sound in the rear when we are going down the road. I won’t be able to determine where that sound is coming from until I get a chance to travel in the rear seat.
