Anybody else with this activation problem? I acquired a fairly new (manufactured in Oct ‘21 but with only 628 mi) Sienna in mid-August and have not been able to activate any of the Connect services via the Toyota.com app on my iPhone. I have registered the VIN and accepted the Terms and Conditions on the App but when I attempt to “Activate” the Connect services, I get a network unavailable message and no LEDs illuminate under the SOS button. I have spoken with Toyota Technical Service and they have assigned a case number and referred me to my local dealer. They said my DCM needed an update. My dealer attempted the update but the system still would not activate. The dealer has had the vehicle in the shop now for over a week while Toyota suggests tests, the Tech performs them and then the cycle repeats. I really don’t understand why Toyota just does not authorize a replacement at this point. It seems it would be a lot less expensive for all concerned. I am getting a bit frustrated.
