Thanks I really want to do this but I don't think I can convince the other half.
HAHA we just sold our Predawn 2021 XSE FWD and got the woodland at msrp. She made me promise I change to the XSE front and rear bumper. :ROFLMAO:

Tire Wheel Automotive tire Tread Vehicle
En
Ended up getting these 18” black wheels 20.6lbs alot lighter than the oem wheels which are around 26lbs each. 1870lbs GAWR, using the factory oem 18” tires and wheel swamp. I was going to with 20” but didn’t want to have to buy new tires.

@woodland, Since you had the pleasure of owning both the XSE and Woodland, is there much difference in terms of ride smoothness? What do you like more about the Woodland than XSE? I am considering both XSE AWD and Woodland, just can't make up my mind.

Is the slight lift in Woodland noticeable? With OEM hitch, do you scrape the bottom going up an incline or driveway?

This sounds like an awesome project, looking forward to how it turns out!

I’m curious about the Highlander rear camera. Is it better than the Sienna camera?

My XSE was FWD with the 20" wheels. I feel like the woodland has a better ride as far as road conditions. Around corners the XSE was 15% better. Overall I like the Woodland because of our shitty roads.

The OEM hitch hasn't hit anything but driveway is 2000ft long and doesn't have any bumps.

With the tail lights I found a DIY. I really do not want to splice into the new wiring harness. I would really like to find someone that can make a pig tail and I already know how it needs to connect and maybe mass produce it.

Took off the mirror cap and did not find a turn signal wire. Also the mirrors internally do not look the same so a person would have to replace the mirrors and run a wire to the headlight not sure if that's what I want to do..

I've scraped the OEM hitch turning into an inclined driveway that no other car in our party had an issue with, including our non-SUV, normal clearance Ford C-Max and another family's Corolla. It was mild but still surprising. Nothing was attached, either, and the overall load was modest. 7 people fully loaded or actually towing a teardrop...going to have to tread very carefully. I'm actually wondering if the the +0.6 inch of "added clearance" on the Woodland was directly to address the overall decreased clearance that the OEM hitch presents.

Have you tried these twist in coil lifts? Might fix you issue.

No and I have zero idea what those are or how they work but I am intrigued! Could I put them in easily or do they require a lift / putting the car up? Do they change the ride quality? I can Google this stuff too but I like tapping into the forum knowledge base. More fun to chat about it.

Interesting. I had no idea what these were but google lead me to this.

Looks like it can kind of act like air-bags? AWD owners might consider it for rear ones. Rear springs have something inside of the springs so Airbags won't work.

I figured it out. Interesting idea to toy with but I probably won't mess with anything that could screw with the many sensors in the car or the warranty. Hell if one of those fell out on the highway that could be a quite the projectile!

Congrats Woodland. Excited to see the progress as it happens. I am curious though as to why you are looking to replace your rear camera with one from the Highlander. What is the difference?
