  • Dual power sunroofs

  • 12.3 inch TFT Multi-Information Display
  • Powered 2nd row captains’ seats
  • Additional USB C ports with cup holders for 2nd row captains’ seats

I'd like a Sienna to...... be available to purchase. And without a dealer markup or 1+ year wait.... or both.

I think quite a few people on this forum are anxiously waiting for a Sienna Prime. I don't know if the underbody can accommodate a large(r) traction battery without a redesign, but the existing 1.9 kWh NiMH battery could be replaced with a "bipolar" (I think that's the word), still NiMH, but with double the energy density, as they now have in the new Toyota Aqua. At almost 3.8 kWh this battery would make a difference when driving in a mountainous terrain.

It's also not entirely clear why Toyota would even make a Sienna without a spare wheel, since the space for it is already available, and it's just not smart to fill it up with a chunk of plastic in the non-spare wheel versions. Make the spare wheel standard, and those who don't need it can take it out and sell it on eBay and use the resulting cavity for storage.

I currently drive a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T with 130k+ on it. Every option except for video. Avid skier, camper & traveler, no kids, 3 dogs. I use the 2nd row seats maybe 7 or 8 times a year, 3rd row seats maybe 4X since I bought the van. Most of the time the seats are folded into the floor. Love the idea of a AWD hybrid minivan. If Sienna had easily removable seats I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Until then they are off my list.

If you are an avid camper - the middle seats can be removed with some tools. Someone already converted thiers into a RV - see youtube. But the biggest draw is the 1500 watt inverter. Also the fact that you can use the HV battery for airconditioning (for a few hours during hot summers in the desert). The engine will just kick on every 15 mins or so.

Yawn....Just ways to get you to spend an extra $10k on a small $100 lcd screen.

I need things that save time and money. So either make it faster or put in a REAL remote starter at least. Smdh.

They should offer a bare bone commercial use version with column shifters and no center console and removable seats. The taxis and wheelchair accessible people would love it.

Toyota sells cargo vehicles in other Countries
2024 Toyota Cargo Van

I am not sure if this would be sold in North America.

The vehicle shown on the pix is already sold in the US as the "Ram Promaster", built in MX by Stellantis.

Toyota's own van is called HiAce, and it's sold in many places in the world, including MX, but not in the US.

Alphard is getting the 2.4T max powertrain for the new model.

Given that crown and grand highlander have the same powertrain. I think sienna will get it as well as part of its refresh.

I would hope they would at least put in Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 if nothing else.

Sienna Prime and the newest safety Sense would be my 2 picks... but I don't even have a Sienna yet....
wishlist
-the dual sunroof be back ( just like last gen )
-12"+ infotainment screen not the cheap 9" ( for high price Limited & Platinum trim )
-a Prime or Grand version would be awesome
-in car vacuum cleaner
-higher resolution for entertainment ( 2k -4K )
I don't have the Sienna yet but as I wait for mine some things that are mildly frustrating on configurations:
1) More options for interior/exterior color combinations. Why can't I get black or Grey interior with certain trims
2) Sport trim for Limited/Platinum models? Would love to see a Platinum with the XSE trim look
3) Upgraded wheel options. Platinum only comes with 18s? Should have some nicer upgrade options.

Given there have been no spy photos or anything, I would expect 2024 Sienna year to have no exterior cosmetic changes or power train changes. We would've probably seen at least some spy photos with camo from testing by now as manufacturers would want to bring in a new/refreshed model mid of this year. It would be cool to see the larger 12.3 screen with wireless carplay.
Toyota may be planning to add some new features and upgrades to the 2024 Sienna model, such as dual power sunroofs, a larger infotainment system, and additional USB C ports with cup holders for the 2nd row captains' seats.
The inclusion of Toyota Sienna Fuel Economy for 2024 MY and a smart PM2.5 cabin air filter system could also be possible updates for the 2024 Sienna, although it's unclear if these features will be available in all markets or just in certain regions.
It's worth noting that the changes you mentioned were observed in the Chinese Sienna, and there could be some differences in features or updates for the US market. Additionally, pricing may vary between markets, and the Chinese Sienna's higher price could be due to factors such as import taxes and other fees.

Honestly hope we get the new infotainment os/ui and Birds Eye view on limited. Not a fan of the brown seats on platinum. Wished they offered black seats and headliner on platinum
