Torn between two Siennas. Looking to buy soon, otherwise I would wait for a better deal.

$18,900 2009 Sienna XLE w/75,000 miles. Single owner California car. I’ve read the quality on these 2nd gens is top notch.

$21,000 2014 Sienna Limited w/115,000 miles. Michigan car. This one has really good maintenance records including fluid flushes at 90k miles. This one also has AWD.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I absolutely plan on that. I’m not asking which one is more mechanically sound.

I’m just curious is there’s some reason why the 2009 was a better year (I’ve read the XLE and up was the “Lexus” of minivans and it looks and feels like it might be using nicer parts), or if there’s some reason why the 14 Limited is a particularly good model.

This is my first time looking into Siennas and figured this might be a good place to read some strong opinions and the more info I could give the better.

Most Def a mechanic and I would bet on the California VAN if no rust is present. Michigan=rust
