I found removing the center row unremovable seats was very simple. I used the Brads Hacks airbag dongle. I slid the seat trolleys all the way back and boxed them in with 2x4s and topped it with 3/4" plywood. Finally covered with dense foam 2'x2' interlocking pads to make it easy on the knees.

Yeah, the 3/4" was overkill but it was a discount half-sheet deal. All my scrap wood is damp or wet. Pics attached. I didn't go full floor so our senior dog could still make it in the door. Now she has a step up to the wayback seat. On a separate note I made a couple cool bright orange/white paracord keychains for the fobs to make them easy to see.

I hear you. I chose not to populate the planet but we do occasionally haul an additional person. Unfortunately the wayback seats are very uncomfortable. That should discourage riders from tagging along. We're minivan people who like to overpack and throw in a dog or two. I need to come up with a way to attach a "seat belt" strap to the dog harness.

We have 2 big dogs. We got top-crash-tested Clickit Sport harnesses for them and the seatbelts go through the harnesses. (My sister is a vet and has treated dogs without restraints in car accidents)l Top rate by the Center for Pet Safety.
