Great writeup, Thanks for sharing. A few questions:

1. Did you replace an Entune based HU or a regular one
2. The NEX does not sit flush with the front of the Alpine kit. Does it in any way affect the movement of the front Bezel. I have a 8200 and am debating between the ALpine and non-Alpine kit
3. Which USB adapter (Metra or iDatalink) did you use to retain the factory USB
4. The TO1 harness only outputs 4.5V. Were you able to get your OE backup cam to work with it?
