When I plug my iPhone to the car, the apple CarPlay doesn’t automatically connect to the car. Bluetooth works though. Anyone know how to fix this? It’s really annoying !

this usually happens on the phones side, completely turn your iphone off and then on and that should fix the issue

Try different cables, normally should work with most cables but try OEM cable just to rule that out.

Disable the Bluetooth on phone, remove the phone from the vehicle

Turn on car play on phone

Check that the cable you are using is a good quality (OEM) data cable and not just a charging cable. Also make sure you are plugging in to the correct USB port. The only port on the Sienna that has a data connection to the head unit is the one in front of the gear shifter on the dash. The center console and all the rear ports are charge only.
