There is a green light indicator on my 2022 Sienna XLE - rear view mirror. It indicates that the anti-glare feature is on and working. But at night, if i turn it off - there seems to be no difference on/off (glare wise). Does yours do the same ? I was expecting the mirror become darker or something.

Still within the warranty period, I suggest you take it in for a check.
I did - they said there is nothing wrong with it. In fairness - when parked in the garage during the day - i do see some change when i turn it off/on. But at night - i dont see any difference. Weird. Maybe it needs a really bright light to activate it (like the sun).

I tested mine by placing my finger over the sensor on the back of the mirror in the daytime to see it if worked and it did. Not sure why it's not as dramatic when I'm on a dark road with no lights at night with the bright lights of a car behind me. I can see the mirrors shade a bit...but I guess not as dramatically as I'd like.

Yeah mine too - not very significant difference. What trim do you have ? Mine is XLE. I wonder if different models have better auto-dimming capabilities.
