I need to change front seals (crank and timing gear) on my 2001 Sienna. I used Felpro on another van and that has gone 50K miles with no leaks. I just want to hear from others, what brand of oil seal is better?

I would stick with parts from the dealer. Especially when it comes to parts that can cause leaks.

went with the Felpro. Greased up the shaft area and used RTV on outer sealing edge. I know many don't like the RTV trick, but it works for me. Will let you know when it starts leaking again. I did check the PCV valve and it was fairly new anyway and ratled like it should. I ran some wd40 and compressed air through it to clean anything out. Funny that it does allow flow in both directions. Google has plenty of people asking about that. It does slightly restrict in the one direction but still lets a bit of flow. Apparantlly normal...
