Original or aftermarket radio?
Never happened in my Sienna but, between me and my friends, I've experienced probably a dozen cars which had the ignition lock break/malfunction, allowing you to remove the key when the ignition was in the ON or ACC position and a few cases where you could just start the car without a key. The fix was always replacing the ignition but I don't know anyone who actually fixed the issue because the car wasn't worth the hassle of a new ignition, keyed to the correct key. That said, as @paul r is hinting, it's possible that someone wired it to continuous power. So my 2006 Sienna did a new trick for me today. I was listening to the radio and went to get out of the car took my key out of the ignition opened my door and realized the radio was still playing. It seemed like the key was in ACC position but wasn't even in the ignition.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips what I should do?

Happened to me before in my old totaled second gen. I was able to do the same thing and even pull it out when the engine was running. So my 2006 Sienna did a new trick for me today.
