2020 Toyota Sienna LE (AWD). Mileage = 50,000km (or 31,000 miles).
I was under my car and noticed what appears to be cracks in my transmission housing. Is this normal???
It's not leaking but, this doesn't seem right to me.

The die used to make the part is getting old and checked. A closer look would show raised lines in the casting. Normal. You could try sanding a couple spots. Cracks won't sand out.

Sure looks like cracks to me and all of the trans housings I've seen in my day none looked like that. What Circus says makes sense, after all they are castings.

Yup. They are normal.
