Hi guys and gals

Tomorrow I plan on replacing the bearing in the viscous coupler. I am a bit concerned of snapping the studs on the coupler as it’s pretty rusty (I’m in Canada). The u joint is also pretty rusty.

I’d like to know in worse case scenario, is it possible to disconnect the driveshaft and drive the van temporarily as fwd?

Thanks in advance :)

I don't know about the Sienna, but other OBD-II AWD vehicles (mostly G35 AWD sedans) I've worked on can be driven with the driveshaft out but they complain bitterly about it. Flashing CEL, Traction control, ABS and Cruise all disabled. But it SHOULD drive. I would chose not to though.
