hi guys, any tip on how to remove & pull the signal stalk out? I tried the technique on youtube pushing on the tab but it's still stuck. Im sure i took off the 2 screws and it wont budge. I have a 22 LE AWD here in US. Thanks guys
Look at post #17, slightly lift up the tab there and pull it straight out.

Has anyone found a trick how to remove the switch after two screws are removed? The clip in the photo seem doesn’t help either being pushed or pulled. Applied lots of force trying to pull out but it doesn’t
was able to remove the switch by pulling on a tab. Made a youtube video

After a long time with frustrating researches all around Google, local light shops , I finally ended up in this forum... thanks to all the folks that input valuable information that helped me cut the dealer installation mark up and a saving of at least $600 canadian in labor !! Got all set up today. The pull piece of plastic after 2 screws to the signal switch in fact didn't do nothing. I actually ( accidentally) broke it and found nothing underneath it to hold it in position. I spent around 20 minutes wiggling the whoel thing gently back and forth up and down.. eventually it came off of the pins.. lights in 👍 👌.. I bought the us part with drl off. One hiccup though , the fog light leaves an arch of light in the front of vehicle... and apparently that's it. A beam of approximately 1 foot wide ... is that something Normal ? I will try and upload a picture. Other than that straight forward installation.. Thanks again

Can someone please provide details on either removing the fender or going in from under the vehicle? I easily installed the OEM signal stalk with fog light feature, but don't know where to start with regards to installing the actual fog lights. Thanks!!

Mission complete! The passenger side is a piece of cake, the signal stalk is relatively simple, but oh man, that driver side fog light assembly is hard to get to (that screw that is furthest away is obstructed). Didn’t get it fully tight, but tight enough on the drivers side. The dealer wanted $850 for an aftermarket unit with a button that goes on the dash. I’m not sure if they are just trying to get one over me or they truly do not know that the vehicle is pre-wired for this.

Next project is figuring out if the front parking sonar is just as straight forward.. buy an XLE model lower bumper/grille, install it, and plug in to the harness that’s on the passenger side near the fog light as empty. The only question I have is whether or not it will be automatically added to the settings menu?

I feel like Toyota HQ doesn't want people to know how easy it is to upgrade to something that would have made them more money through package or trim upgrades, so dealerships are told not to do it?

I finally installed the switch with DRL Off into my 2023 Highlander (uses the same switch as the Sienna). This is the one I got off Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003957095261.html. Works perfectly, tested all the functions and everything still works, and now I can switch off all the lights if I want to chill in my car with the HVAC on.
For those who have trouble getting the switch out, there is actually a locking tab at the connector. You'll see what I mean if you look at the new switch. I had to pry there to loosen it first, after which it came off with basically no resistance when I just lightly lifted the tab at the front.
